Michelnibs http://www.coolhunting.com/archives/2006/05/michel_cluizel.php

As exam season hits with full force this month, Chocolat Michel Cluizel, the Manhattan outpost of the legendary Parisian chocolatier, has made all night cramming sessions easier with the introduction of "time release" cocoa nibs enrobed in dark chocolate. Richard Perl, chairman and CEO of Chocolat Michel Cluizel, says "these nibs deliver the clarity, mental focus, and peak concentration levels you look for from a cup of coffee without the negative side effects like anxiety or that jittery feeling you get from high doeses of caffeine." "Prescriptions" for chocolate covered cocoa nibs are sold by the vial starting at $5 from Michel Cluizel.

i was lazily cruisin' the bookstore today and decided to try sinkin' my teeth into some new reading matieral, so i hit the magazine section and grabbed one at total random and flipped open to a totally random page...the first thing that jumps out at me is a cover story on popular hong kong fashion and youth culture...

(^thatz the mag)

i believe it is a sign!! i dont care if i hafta swim my way there, i WILL get there!! anywayz i looked up on some sweet hotels in HK and here are two of the sweetest:

JIA HOTEL causeway bay,HK

what i really like about this one is that itz like having a very modern and young-looking apartment, they give you the option to do your own laundry and to take advantage of the private kitchen...its also located in the shopping and entertainment district in HK Island...basically this is what my dorm should be like :)

GRAND HYATT hk, Hong Kong

two words : absolutely gorgeous. period. no single corner is less than that...

Hotel Lobby

Champagne Bar

Grissini Italian Restaurant - Wine Celler

Grand Cafe

Sauna with Harbour View

Grand Harbour View Room

i highly reccommend taking the virtual tour and checking out the rest of the photo gallery

hey everyone, today'z update iz extra special cuz i'm @ my summer advising! at first i thought this would be kinda boring (it'z a town renowned for it's variety of grasses and cows for petesake'z) and the people here would be intimidating but boy waz i wrong.

more details when i actually see people face to face, but here'z a couple of thingz i learned:

1) duces/ big 2/ to dai chi and initial d are the games that brings all people (especially azn folks) together

2) dopplegangerz are everywhere! each new person i meet remindz me of someone i know

3) being in new places literally makes me lose my sanity, my memory went kapoot and poof, i had to check myself at least 3x everytime i left my room, just to go to the restroom across the hall-(my poor roomie got accustomed to asking me 'do have this? you sure you're ready?' before we leave our room and i get lost when i stop at intersections, 'did i get here by walking away or towards that tree?'
